Mass Flow Communicator

The newly released Bürkert version A.03.05.02 is a universal software program that communicates with Bürkert's full range of Mass Flow Meters and Controllers.
The software is free* and downloadable here. The software also contains a full manual; just click the "?". This allows the user to make full use of all standard features that are built into our Mass Flow Meters and Controllers.

These standard features** include:

  • Calibration for two gasses or measured ranges (without loss of accuracy or repeatability)
  • Two limits to each parameter: measured value, setpoint and valve position (detect disrupted flow or filter starting to block)
  • Two limits to each of the inbuilt Total Flow Totaliser (detect bottle nearly empty)
  • Free and independent setting of input and output signal (0-5/0-10V, 0-20/4-20mA)
  • Assignment of binary inputs to: auto-tune, second calibrated gas, reset Totaliser, open valve 100%, close valve 0%, safety status active (setpoint becomes valve position control)
  • The binary outputs (relays) can be connected to any of features mentioned above.
  • The indicator LED's can be configured to show what is happening.
  • The software has a "Dynamic Reading" mode to monitor the input, output and valve position while commissioning the instrument or application.
  • The software also holds a monitoring and logging feature with export to Excel.

Note: * for communication a dongle is needed. ** number of binary in- and outputs vary per model.
