For applications with a high "chill factor" Bürkert has a range of Cryogenic 2/2 way pneumatic operated control and on-off valves with cast stainless steel body.
The typical temperature range is from -196 to +180°C and pressure to 16bar. Pressures up to 25bar are available on request and will be specially tested.
Like the standard range of process valves, the variation of controlling and indicating are numerous. The angle seat on-off valves have open indication and can be fitted with electrical position indication, stroke limitation and manual override. The valves can be piloted direct or through remote systems like Bürkert AirLINE. The control valves can be fitted with 8630 top controller, 1067 or 8635 side controller, or just on-off features like the 2000 series. Advantages of the controller are stand-alone control capabilities for various inputs, automatic tuning for easy commissioning and also Fieldbus capability is available.
