Angle Seat Valves for CIP

Are you sick of the constant caustic drip from ball valves in your dairy plant?  Apart from the chemical wastage the dripping caustic is a safety hazard. The Burkert Type 2000 Stainless Steel valve with PTFE seat will fix the dripping caustic problem.
The valve has wiper seals which overcomes the problem of caustic crystals build up and the resultant shaft damage. The piston actuator requires low breakout torque which means smaller actuators and lower air consumption.

Cycle life will be approx 4 times that of a ball valve in comparative service. A leak detect feature gives an early warning if the seal has been damaged. The Type 2000's are available in weld end and threaded in sizes 15mm to 65mm. A water hammer free version is also available.

The valve can be fitted with a number of accessories such as limit stop and feedback options.

The NZ dairy industry is using Type 2000 valves fitted with the Type 8633 Control Tops for CIP systems. The 8633 Top includes a solenoid pilot valve and 2 limit switches and is a cost effective solution for a reliable CIP chemical dosing valve in dairy processing plants.
